Jennifer Beckman

Family Law Attorney

Jennifer Beckman is a partner of Beckman Steen & Lungstrom, P.A.  Jennifer has practiced family law since 1987. She initially trained to become a marriage and family therapist, however, her passion for helping families led her to law school. Her family law practice includes divorce, collaborative divorce, child custody/parenting time, child support, property division, spousal maintenance, post-decree issues, paternity and domestic abuse.

Jennifer’s clients include individuals with complex financial or business issues, people with complicated personal issues, clients with unique family structures, and those with issues involving how to handle co-parenting.  As well, Jennifer also handles simple dissolutions without any complex issues.

As her clients go through the collaborative divorce process, Jennifer guides them to work toward a cooperative resolution while educating them as to the intricacies of the law. Jennifer is compassionate toward her client’s financial needs and emotional struggles, yet she assists them to leave the collaborative divorce process with their dignity intact as a whole person rather than in fragmented pieces.
